¿Fué real el ataque de Anonymous a Go Daddy?

Según publicaciones en la internet GoDaddy fué brutalmente atacado por Anonymous, un grupo de hackers que desde el anonimáto se dedican a ataques cibernéticos en pro de sus causas.  El supuesto ataque generó una ola de críticas a Anonymous porque al ataquer a GoDaddy.com, un sitio web para registrar dominios, se llevó consigo al suelo los 52 millones de sites que tiene a su haber registrado.  Lo peor es las razones que supuestamente alegan algunos medios dió Anonymous para su supuesto ataque Cyber a esta página: "ya se sabrá porque lo hicimos".  Bueno no me conformé con solo leer la noticia y hice una pequeña búsqueda por internet.  Para mi sorpresa Anonymous dió razones más reales para su alegado ataque: "el apoyo de GoDaddy.com al gobierno de Estados Unidos en su esfuerzo por censurar y controlar el internet (SOPA = Stop Online Privacy Act ) según el grupo de Hackers.  Pero el Website hoy informó que no había sido un ataque y que básicamente habían tenido una serie de problemas entre ellos con los DSNs. También su CEO público una carta electrónica: http://support.godaddy.com/godaddy/ceo-addresses-sept-10-service-outage/?isc=smtwsup&iphoneview=1  en donde en resumen se disculpó por los inconvenientes causados y aseguró que nunca la información personal como número de tarjetas de crédito, seguros sociales, etc... de sus clientes habían estado en peligro.

DISGRACE! INCOMPETENCE! DISORDER!

I think the list could go on and on and on... A registrar of 52 million sites is down, taking ALL 52 MILLION SITES WITH IT, because .... of "series of internal network events that corrupted router data tables"

I, as a paying customer and IT business owner referring my customers to GoDaddy - DEMAND more detailed explanation.

On the second thought, don't bother - if you were able to flop this bad once - there is no way in hell I will trust you again. Perusing my customers to switch will not be hard at all after they lost HALF OF MONDAY worth of orders, reservations, shipping, confirmation, airline tickets, transfers ....

GoDaddy - Maybe if you would've hired REAL TECHNICIANS INSTEAD OF MODEL GIRLS, your "series of internal network events" would've not happened.

I'll keep my customers and I will take them somewhere else.

+Erich Toven - I don't know if this is true, but given the circumstances, I wont dismiss that possibility. Everything is very fishy and murky.
